What is the Open Tool?

The Open tool brings a saved project back so you can carry on working. A School Sounds project keeps all your tracks together, so when you open it you get everything back exactly as you left it.

Quick Start

Choose Open

Click the Open (folder) button to bring up the Open window.

Pick where it is

Choose your device, Google Drive or OneDrive, depending on where you saved the project.

Choose your project

Select the project file and it will open with all your tracks ready to go.

Where You Can Open From

Your Device

Open a project file saved on your computer, tablet or phone. No internet needed.

Google Drive

Open a project you saved to Google Drive. Sign in first to see your files.

OneDrive

Open a project you saved to Microsoft OneDrive. Sign in first to see your files.

Handy Tips!

• Save before you open: Opening a project replaces what is on screen, so save your current work first.

• Import instead: To add a single sound to your project rather than replace it, use the Import tool.

• Sign in for the cloud: You need to be signed in to open projects from Google Drive or OneDrive.

• Cloud projects are ready for Quick Save: After opening a cloud project, Save can update that same file and Auto-save can protect later changes.
