Why Sign In?

You can use School Sounds without signing in and save everything to your own device. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, you can also save, open and import from the matching cloud service. Cloud projects support Quick Save and Auto-save.

How to Sign In

Click the account button

Find the person icon in the top corner and click it.

Choose your account

Sign in with Google or Microsoft, whichever account you use.

Allow access

Give School Sounds permission to work with its files. You are now ready to use the cloud.

Your Cloud Choices

Google Drive

Sign in with a Google account to save, open and import files in Google Drive.

OneDrive

Sign in with a Microsoft account to save, open and import files in OneDrive.

Why Use the Cloud?

Quick Save: update the same cloud project with Save or Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on Mac).
Auto-save: after the first cloud save, the green Auto-save icon shows that changes are being saved periodically.
Open anywhere: pick up your project on a different computer or tablet.
Never lose it: no more worrying about forgetting to bring your file.

• Ask a grown-up: If you are not sure which account to use, ask your teacher or a parent.

• Sign out on shared devices: Remember to sign out when you finish on a class or library computer.

• You don't have to sign in: Saving to your own device works without an account.

Common Questions

Do I have to sign in to use School Sounds?

No. You can do everything and save to your device without an account. Signing in only adds cloud saving.

How do I sign out?

Click the account button again and choose Sign Out. On shared computers, always sign out when you finish.

Can School Sounds see all my files?

No. It can only work with the project files you save through it, not the rest of your cloud storage.
